Black & White on White

Black + White on White is a Brooklyn photographic print-production studio specializing in traditional silver gelatin printing and fine art photographic output. The studio’s core focus is darkroom-based silver gelatin work alongside digital pigment printing, supporting exhibition prints, editions, portfolios, and book production.

The practice combines analog and digital workflows, including film processing, high-resolution scanning, and LVT digital-negative output for optical printing. Projects often involve close collaboration with photographers to refine tonal quality, print matching, and final presentation.

Work is carried out in a Bushwick studio on an appointment basis, with mounting and framing available as supporting services. The client base includes photographers, galleries, museums, publishers, and estates, reflecting a production environment centered on photographic projects and exhibition-ready results.
