Pictura Art Conservation
Art Conservation & Restoration
Painting conservation and restoration for collectors, galleries, and institutions is the core focus of this New York practice. Pictura Art Conservation is led by three senior conservators with long experience in the field, working across paintings ranging from Old Masters to modern and contemporary works.
The studio’s work centers on close examination and condition-based treatment, including cleaning, stabilization, structural repair, and inpainting. Projects often begin with condition reports, treatment proposals, or pre-purchase assessments, with attention to both surface and structural issues.
Clients include auction houses, museums, private collectors, corporate collections, and insurers. The practice also provides preventive conservation guidance and coordinates transport and related services as part of its project-based workflow.
